The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) has published decisions and recommendations from 4 to 15 March 2024.
March employment case law
Cases covered include:

an award for unfair dismissal following a procedure with the "superficial appearance of a fair process" (A Salesperson v A Hardware Company, ADJ-00048227),
-
consideration of what constitutes an offer of suitable employment in a redundancy situation (Andrejs Ratinskis v McCabe Entreprises(Cmx) Limited, ADJ-00045972), and
-
a finding of unfair dismissal where a worker's hours of employment were progressively reduced from 20 to 4 hours per week (Noreen Hanley v Friends Forever, Castletownbere, ADJ-00047298).
