Trade Mark and Patent Agent examinations
The latest round of Trade Mark and Patent Agent examinations, coordinated by the Intellectual Property Office of Ireland, will take place in April.
Patent Agent examination - Tuesday 25 April
The aim of this examination is to test candidates understanding of the law and practice relating to the grant, enforcement and exploitation of Patents rights as they apply in Ireland, Europe and Internationally.
Subject to there being a sufficient number of candidates, it is proposed to hold an online examination in the law and practice of Patents on 25 April 2023. The deadline for submission of applications is 31 March 2023.
Trade Mark Agent examination - Wednesday 26 April
The aim of the examination in the law and practice of trade marks is to test candidates' understanding of the law and practice relating to the registration, enforcement and exploitation of trade mark rights as they apply in the Republic of Ireland.
Subject to there being a sufficient number of candidates, it is proposed to hold an online examination in the law and practice of Trade Marks on 26 April 2023. The deadline for submission of applications is 31 March 2023.
