Legal writers need to master a variety of styles - from emails providing basic information, to giving advice on complex subjects or instructing counsel. A combination of theory and practice, this workshop aims to demonstrate what constitutes good formal writing and to encourage learners to think about their writing skills and how they practice the art of written expression. Through a series of exercises participants will gain ideas and techniques to develop and improve their writing skills.

Digital Upskilling Excel Level 2 Intermediate 

Tuesday 1 November, Online via Zoom Meetings

This digital upskilling course is aimed at users who have basic experience with Excel and want to build on their current knowledge to set up their own spreadsheets and manipulate existing ones.  By the end of this one-day course you will have gained a good working knowledge of Excel to include features such as functions and formulae, sorting and filtering data, working with charts and pivot tables.

Digital Upskilling Word Level 2 Intermediate  

Wednesday 5 October, Online via Zoom Meetings  

This digital upskilling course is aimed at users who want to develop existing word processing skills, generate and manipulate more complex documents and create mail shots. By the end of this one-day course you will have acquired an in-depth knowledge of some of the more advanced features of Microsoft Word including advanced tables, styles, charts, drawing and pictures.

Digital Upskilling Word Level 3 Advanced

Tuesday 29 November, Online via Zoom Meetings

This digital upskilling course is aimed at users who generate and manipulate long reports, documents, templates and online forms that may need to be edited by multiple users. By the end of this one-day course you will be able to produce high quality reports, templates and forms incorporating more advanced Word features such as bookmarks, fields and macros.
