• The Professional Indemnity Insurance Committee of the Law Society has published a Practice Note, In-House Solicitors and Pro Bono Work. In the Practice Note, the Committee affirms that in-house solicitors in the private and public sectors who wish to carry out pro-bono work should ensure that they meet their statutory regulatory requirements. Developed by the Irish Centre for Diversity, solicitors can adopt and adapt this policy to help improve and promote gender equality, diversity and inclusion within their organisations and the wider solicitors’ profession.
