High Court during Easter Vacation 2024

The High Court has advised practitioners and court users on arrangements during Easter Vacation 2024.

Throughout the vacation period, a High Court Judge will be accessible daily exclusively for urgent applications.

For matters requiring urgent attention, the High Court has asked practitioners and court users contact the Four Courts on 01-8886000 to coordinate with the High Court Duty Registrar. Applications should be accompanied by certification from the High Court Duty Registrar confirming the urgency of the matter, and a written explanation via email detailing the urgency must be submitted.

Sittings 

A Judge will convene from Monday 25 March to Thursday 28 March at 11am in Court 3 of the Four Courts, unless otherwise instructed by the High Court Duty Registrar.

Additionally, the Bail List will convene at Cloverhill Courthouse on:

  • Tuesday 26 March 2024,

  • Thursday 28 March 2024,

  • Tuesday 2 April 2024, and

  • Thursday 4 April 2024.

The Extradition List will be heard at the Criminal Courts of Justice on Wednesday, 27 March 2024.

Legal Diary

The Legal Diary will be published on the Courts Service website on each day on which the Central Office is open during the Easter vacation.

Central Office of the High Court

In accordance with the Rules of the Superior Courts, the Central Office will close at 4.30pm on Thursday 28 March 2024 and will reopen on Wednesday 3 April 2024. The Central Office will be closed on Friday 29 March, Monday 1 April and Tuesday 2 April 2024.
