Learn about new resources offered by Law Society Psychological Services, and how you can get involved.

Focus on men's health

With Movember and International Men’s Day, which focused this year on ‘Zero Male Suicides’, November is an important time for men’s health. Law Society Psychological Services encourages more open conversations about mental health and engagement with tailored psychological supports, on-demand professional wellbeing courses and our new suicide prevention web pages Reasons for Living.

In recognition of emotional strain, often intensified during the winter months, a new suicide prevention resource Reasons for Living has been launched by Psychological Services, with ways to identify warning signs of suicide, intervene effectively, seek assistance, and how to access specialised support resources. This will be expanded into a bigger initiative in the new year offering more in-depth resources, training and support.
