Collaborate on the new Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility

01/07/2019 08:06:00

The Diploma Centre is seeking experienced and enthusiastic colleagues to collaborate on a new Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Each year, as part of a drive to provide relevant and quality training, the Diploma Centre identifies a number of key areas of practice to develop as specialised diploma courses. In doing so, the team is keen to engage with Law Society members and invite feedback and suggestions in terms of course design, content and delivery. Expressions of interest from prospective lecturers and tutors with experience in these domain areas are also welcomed. Contact Dr Freda Grealy.

About CSR and the Certificate course

CSR involves improving the workplace for the benefit of all employees, engaging and helping to improve the communities in which the business operates, and promoting an environmentally responsible business agenda. This new offering from the Diploma Centre provides a best-practice guide and a comprehensive understanding of the wide range of CSR philosophies and approaches.

The Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility Practice takes place over three block weekends (Friday and Saturday) over three months. Starting in October, it covers the following modules:

  • Module 1: What is corporate social responsibility?
  • Module 2: Running and managing an impactful CSR function
  • Module 3: Design, build and improve your CSR function
