The President of the High Court has assigned the following judges of the High Court to be the Judge in Charge of the following High Court lists for the Easter Term 2024:

  • Mr. Justice McDermott, Judge in Charge of the Central Criminal Court, Extradition, Criminal Assets Bureau and Bail;

  • Mr. Justice Hunt, Judge in charge of the Special Criminal Court;

  • Mr. Justice Coffey, Judge in Charge of the Personal Injuries List;

  • Ms. Justice Hyland, Judge in Charge of the Non Jury/Judicial Review and Asylum List;

  • Mr. Justice McDonald, Judge in Charge of the Commercial List and the designated judge for Admiralty matters;

  • Mr. Justice Jordan, Judge in Charge of the Family List;

  • Mr. Justice Owens, Judge in Charge of the Civil Jury List; and

  • Mr. Justice Sanfey, Judge in Charge of the Chancery List.

The President has also nominated the following judges:

  • President of the High Court, Judge for the Arbitration List, Professional/Disciplinary List and the Inherent Jurisdiction (Capacity) List;

  • Mr. Justice Barrett, Judge in Charge of the Competition List;

  • Mr. Justice Humphreys, Judge in Charge of the Planning and Environment List;

  • Ms. Justice Gearty, Judge in Charge of the Hague Luxembourg Convention List;

  • Ms. Justice Stack, Judge in Charge of the Probate List;

  • Ms. Justice Reynolds, Judge in Charge of the Garda Compensation List;

  • Mr. Justice Quinn, Ms. Justice Roberts and Mr. Justice Mulcahy, Judges assigned by the President to hear Examinership matters;

  • Mr. Justice Kennedy, Judge in Charge of the Bankruptcy List;

  • Mr. Justice Owens, Judge in Charge of the Personal Insolvency List and the Criminal Assets Bureau List; and

  • Mr Justice Simons, Judge in Charge of the Adjudication List (Construction Contracts Act 2013).

Any application with regard to matters pertaining to those lists shall be made to the relevant Judge in Charge.
