Support planned as PC renewals go fully online
The Law Society President says “considerable work” is underway to make the upcoming Practising Certificate (PC) renewal process as user-friendly as possible.
The Society’s Council recently agreed that the process would be exclusively online, resulting in a saving of between €50,000 and €60,000.
Writing in the President’s Bulletin, James Cahill said 66% of practising solicitors made their applications online last year. He said the Society was working to provide support on the process to solicitors who needed it.
