LK Shields names new property partner

Irish corporate and commercial law firm LK Shields Solicitors LLP has appointed Cathal Hester (pictured) as a partner in its commercial property team.

The firm said Mr Hester, who is based in its Galway office, has been playing a central role in advising some of its largest domestic and international clients on all aspects of Irish commercial property law.

Commitment to western region

He has a particular expertise in complex commercial leasing transactions.

“Cathal’s promotion is testament to his wealth of knowledge and expertise," said LK Shields managing partner David Williams. “Furthermore, it underpins our commitment to our clients and the western region.”

Established in 1988, LK Shields now has more than 150 staff and has offices in Dublin, Galway and London.
