Holmes O’Malley Sexton's 2021 bursary

A student from Kilmallock, Co Limerick, has been awarded the prestigious Holmes O’Malley Sexton Scholarship at the University of Limerick (UL).

The bursary was endowed to law and accounting student Brian Daly (pictured), in recognition of his outstanding academic performance.

The legal firm, which has an office in Limerick, has awarded the scholarship annually for more than two decades.

Future career in law

The scholarship will play a pivotal role in the development of Brian’s education and future career in law, providing €2,500 towards course and study-related costs.

“This financial support is really encouraging as I continue my studies and I’m very grateful to Holmes O’Malley Sexton for the recognition,” he said.

Holmes O’Malley Sexton managing partner Harry Fehily said the scholarship reflected the firm’s long-standing culture of quality and community values.
