MH&C appoints privacy and data-security partner
Law firm Mason Hayes & Curran (MH&C) has appointed Julie Austin (pictured) as a partner in its privacy and data-security team.
Austin advises clients on a range of data-protection issues, and has expertise working on crisis-management mandates – including advising on high-profile security incidents.
“Julie is recognised in the market for her substantive privacy experience, along with her understanding of Irish procedural law,” said Philip Nolan (head of MH&C’s privacy team).
Before joining MH&C, Austin worked in Fieldfisher, and another leading Irish law firm. She is a graduate of University College Cork.
