LK Shields Solicitors has teamed up with the access programme at NUI Galway for students who are under-represented at third level.

Through the conduit of Business to Arts and the Creative Ireland’s National Creativity Fund, the tie-up will see the firm work with artist and Macnas performance director James Riordan to help access students develop the presentation and leadership skills they need to enter the workforce.

This partnership is part of LK Shields’ ongoing corporate social responsibility strategy which focuses on disadvantaged young people, homelessness and the environment.

Creative partnerships

Business to Arts is a charity that brokers creative partnerships between businesses, individuals and the arts. 

The National Creativity Fund backs strategic partnerships with cultural organisations, education and academic institutions and healthcare specialists.

Over €1.2m will be invested in 30 initiatives in 2018-19.
