Law Society lifts this year’s Corn Adomnáin

The Law Society has won this year’s Corn Adomnáin International Humanitarian Law (IHL) competition.

The Corn Adomnáin is organised by the Irish Red Cross for those with an interest in this area of humanitarian law.

'Law of Innocents'

The competition gets its name from the Cáin Adomnáin or the 'Law of Innocents' as it is often called.

The Cáin Adomnáin is an early Irish IHL treaty that was signed in Birr, County Offaly in 697 AD.

The team consisted of:

  • Calem Martin,
  • Conal O Gadhra, and
  • Chloe McCabe.

The trio also scooped the cultural property prize during the event, which was held at Dublin City University (DCU) on Saturday, 23 March.
