Winner of best Irish doc opens in cinemas
The winner of best Irish documentary at the Galway Film Fleadh will open in cinemas this Friday (2 October).
Try! showcases mixed-ability rugby and tells the story of Richie, who wasn't allowed to play the sport he loves because of his autism disability.
Unique sport
Then ‘mixed ability’ rugby came along. This unique sport is 15-a-side, full-contact rugby played by people with and without disabilities.
Feature documentary Try! follows four Irish players who defy all expectations and, through dedicated training, play in a world cup in Spain.
This debut feature from Oisín Mistéil is supported by Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland, Coimisiún na Meán, and Virgin Media Television.
