Sinéad Lynch joins Clyde & Co as partner
Global law firm Clyde & Co has appointed Sinéad Lynch as a partner in its Dublin office.
She will also become head of corporate and regulatory insurance for Ireland, in a move that the firm says strengthens its corporate and regulatory-insurance capabilities in the Irish market and across its international insurance network.
Lynch joins Clyde & Co from A&L Goodbody, where she was a partner in the firm’s corporate practice, specialising in insurance and reinsurance.
ESG expert
Dual qualified in Ireland, and England and Wales, she advises insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries, other financial-services clients, investors, and other stakeholders on a broad range of corporate, regulatory, advisory, transactional and crisis-management matters.
The new partner is also an ESG (environmental, social, and governance) and sustainability expert and has significant expertise in contentious regulatory work – including white-collar crime.
Clyde & Co says that the appointment builds on “a strong period of growth” for the firm in Dublin.
It follows the recent promotion of Bernadette Raleigh to partner and head of casualty in Ireland and the relocation to new premises in December.

The firm adds that it is continuing to explore “further strategic recruitment opportunities” in Dublin.
Garrett Moore (managing partner of Clyde & Co’s Dublin office) described Lynch as “one of the leading corporate-insurance lawyers in the Irish market”, adding that her arrival was “an important step” in the continued development and expansion of its offering in Ireland.
Lynch said that Clyde’s international reach and sectoral expertise provided “an outstanding platform” to support clients on the complex issues shaping the insurance and reinsurance markets.
