Respond to Law Society Skillnet AI use survey

Law Society Skillnet is conducting a ten-minute survey on digitisation and the use of AI in practice – from how legal work is delivered and managed today, to how AI tools are being used.

The deadline to complete the survey is 23 September.

Solicitors may access the survey online.

The national conversation on digitisation and AI is accelerating, and it is essential that the voice of the profession is represented, Law Society Skillnet has said.

This initiative is designed to ensure that future workshops, training programmes, and professional supports are informed by robust, practitioner-led data, rather than external noise or market-driven narratives.

Participation will directly inform:

  • Design of future CPD,
  • Development of guidance for the profession,
  • Investment in skills training and capability building,
  • Evidence base for digitisation and AI in practice in the Irish legal sector.

The survey is anonymous and confidential and results are reported only in aggregate.

It takes approximately ten minutes to complete and responses from all practitioners are welcome, whatever the current level of AI adoption.
