Paddy Rath joins Arthur Cox as partner

Paddy Rath has joined Arthur Cox LLP as a partner in its structured finance and securitisation group.

The firm says that Rath has a particular focus on collateralised loan obligations (CLOs), private credit, and asset-based finance.

He advises banks, alternative lenders, asset managers, investors, and issuers on a broad range of Irish and cross-border deals.

‘New and exciting areas’

“As securitisation technology continues to evolve and be deployed in new and exciting areas of finance, I look forward to working with colleagues across the firm to help clients navigate their most important transactions,” said Rath.

Aiden Small (partner, structured finance and securitisation) said that the new partner’s appointment would further strengthen the practice’s offering, adding that his experience and market profile would be “a valuable addition” to the firm.

Before joining Arthur Cox, Rath was a partner at a leading international financial-services law firm.
