OPW work to affect Four Courts access
The Courts Service has told practitioners that work being carried out by the Office of Public Works (OPW) on the entrance gates at the Four Courts will continue until the end of September.
The OPW is doing accessibility-improvement works that will connect wheelchair-accessible gates.
The courts body adds that the associated turnstiles will need to remain closed while works, which are expected to start on 9 September, are continuing.
Chancery Place
At the Chancery Place entrance, one turnstile will be available for both entry and exit during certain phases of the works.
These disruptions will occur intermittently throughout September, and signage will be in place on affected days.
The Courts Service adds that there is always a service officer on duty at this gate who will be able to help access-card holders with queries.
Luas entrance
At the Luas side entrance, one turnstile will be available for both entry and exit during certain phases of the works.
Disruptions at the Luas entrance will also occur intermittently throughout September, and signage will be in place on affected days.
No disruption to the main entrance to Áras Uí Dhálaigh is anticipated, as all works will be carried out outside of office hours.

Earlier this month, the Courts Service advised practitioners and court users of upgrades to the Gandon Building in the Four Courts that will lead to the relocation of some courtrooms.
