Maura Dineen named DLA Piper country head

DLA Piper has named Maura Dineen as country managing partner (CMP) for Ireland, effective today. 

Maura Dineen joined the firm in 2019 and advises Irish and international clients on tax matters across local and cross-border transactions, including inward investment, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property exploitation, and tax-efficient financing structures.

She is also a member of the Council of the Irish Tax Institute.  

Maura succeeds David Carthy, who led the firm since it entered the Irish market in 2019.

Carthy will remain as a partner in the corporate practice.
