ALG publishes responsible business report

A&L Goodbody (ALG) has published its Responsible Business Report 2025 which highlights the firm’s progress last year under its responsible business and pro bono strategies.

The report showcases the firm’s performance across key areas including:

  • Environmental sustainability,
  • Community engagement,
  • Pro bono,
  • ESG advisory for clients, and
  • ALG’s inclusive and supportive working environment.

The firm had a 4% reduction in carbon footprint compared to 2024, and is on track to reduce it by 50% by 2030 under its science-based targets.

ALG delivered 800+ student experiences through its education and employment programmes.

And 75% of ALG lawyers did 13,000+ hours of pro bono work in 2025, including supporting 81 child refugees with family unification.

Managing partner David Widger said the firm was very proud of its progress.
