Maples Group has announced plans to bring all its Dublin-based under one roof in 2028, as part of what it describes as “a significant investment” in Ireland.
The firm is to move all its Irish operations – including its legal and financial-services businesses – to a newly refurbished headquarters at 75 St. Stephen’s Green.
The group has been operating in Ireland for 20 years and now has 550 employees in Dublin, making the city its second-largest office globally.
It says that it is uniting its Maples and Calder (Ireland) LLP and MaplesFS teams, which currently operate in different locations, to reinforce a ‘one group’ model in a single, integrated environment.
The legal division is currently located at the St Stephen’s Green office.
Peter Stapleton (managing partner, EMEA) described the plan as “a pivotal moment” for the Maples Group.
“Bringing all our Dublin teams together at 75 St Stephen’s Green will create a single, integrated headquarters that embodies our ‘one group’ vision – where legal and financial services work side by side to deliver truly seamless solutions for clients.
“As we mark our 20th anniversary in Ireland, this investment underlines our long-term commitment to the market and our confidence in the next phase of our growth here,” he stated.
Stephen O’Donnell (global head of fiduciary) said that a single, purpose-built space would accelerate collaboration across disciplines, as well as create capacity for future growth.
