Holst to continue as head of McCann FitzGerald

McCann FitzGerald LLP has re-elected Stephen Holst as managing partner for a further three-year term.

His current term finishes on 30 April this year, and his new term will run from 1 May to 30 April 2029.

Holst took over as managing partner on 1 May 2022, having previously worked as a partner in both the employment, pensions and incentive, and the disputes groups within McCann FitzGerald.

During that time, the partnership has grown by 21% and the total staff numbers by 23%.

International strategy

McCann FitzGerald chair Mark White said that the firm had enjoyed “great success” under Holst’s leadership.

“We are extremely fortunate to have someone of Stephen’s considerable talents and leadership qualities to guide the firm,” he added.

“My aim during my first term was to focus on our clients and our people, who are integral to our success,” said Holst.

“Our international strategy and relationships have also been a core pillar of our firm’s success. We intend to continue along this path, fostering deeper relationships of trust in an ever-changing landscape,” he added.
