Browne Jacobson elects senior partner

Browne Jacobson, which operates in Britain and Ireland, has announced the appointment of Jonathan Tardif as senior partner from 1 April.

Elected by the firm's equity partners, Tardif will succeed Caroline Green, who has decided to step down after seven years in the role since her election in 2019.

Tardif joined the firm 13 years ago and brings more than 25 years of commercial dispute-resolution experience to the role.

Departmental revenue doubled

As head of business and professional risk (BPR) at Browne Jacobson, he has overseen a doubling of the department's revenue to Stg £35 million while maintaining strong profitability.

Tardif currently serves on the firm's executive committee.

Browne Jacobson reported record turnover of Stg £137 million for the 2024/25 financial year – a 16% increase from the previous year.

From April, Green will continue to co-lead the firm’s retail and supply-chain sector group as well as advise national and international retail and supply-chain businesses.
