Public talk on Ireland’s wartime spymaster

The Law Society will host a public talk on Colonel Dan Bryan, Ireland’s spymaster during World War II, next month.

The talk is entitled ‘Colonel Dan Bryan: Ireland’s wartime spymaster and a libel case that shook the establishment’.

The speakers will be Marc McMenamin, author of a book on Col Bryan (small picture), and Dr Barry Whelan of the Law Society.

The talk will take place at the Moya Quinlan Lecture Theatre, Blackhall Place, Dublin 7, on Wednesday 9 September (6pm).
