Law firm Dillon Eustace has appointed Keith Robinson as managing partner.
Robinson, who is a partner in the firm’s banking and capital-markets team, succeeds Donnacha O'Connor, who had held the post for six years.
The appointment took effect on 1 August.
O’Connor is returning to full-time practice in Dillon Eustace’s asset-management and investment-funds, and financial-regulation teams.
Robinson has more than 20 years' experience advising domestic and international clients on complex financing and capital-markets transactions.
His expertise spans portfolio acquisitions and sales, fund finance, property finance, acquisition and leveraged finance, distressed-asset transactions, structured finance, and capital markets.
Before joining Dillon Eustace, the new managing partner worked in the banking department of two leading Irish law firms, the National Treasury Management Agency's banking unit, and in the United Arab Emirates.
Welcoming the appointment, O'Connor said that Robinson had played an important role in the firm’s success over many years, and praised his “determination, leadership, and vision”.
Robinson described his appointment as “a great honour”, adding that he was excited about the opportunities ahead.
