The first event from the Dublin European Law Institute for the new academic year will take place in person at The Helix, DCU, on 23 September, from 1:45pm to 3:30pm.
Entitled 'The Savings and Investments Union and the EU Competitiveness Agenda' the event will feature a keynote speech by Enrico Letta (former Prime Minister of Italy, and author of the report ‘Much More than a Market).
This is an official associated event of the Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU, which has identified competitiveness as one of its three key priorities.

The event will be opened by Dr Gëzim Visoka, the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences executive dean.
