Walkers appoints two at Dublin office

Walkers has appointed Eimir McGrath and Stephen McQuaid as vice presidents in their Walkers Professional Services (WPS) team in Ireland.

Country lead Joanna Taylor commented: “'Eimir and Stephen both bring significant experience in transaction management and SPV [special purpose vehicle] structures, alongside a strong understanding of the needs of international clients. Their appointments further strengthen our client-facing capability in Ireland as we continue to support complex transactions across a wide range of structures.' 
 
Eimir McGrath joins WPS Ireland with more than 25 years’ experience in corporate services, including extensive experience managing Irish and British SPVs and acting as a director on a number of Irish SPVs.

Fellow

Stephen McQuaid also joins as vice-president. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland with over 20 years’ experience in the financial-services industry, specialising in financial reporting and corporate transactional matters for SPVs.

He previously held senior roles at Apex Group, Grant Thornton Ireland and Citco Group, where he was responsible for the delivery and management of corporate and structured finance services to a diverse client base.
