Suite of courses for legal support professionals

The Law Society’s professional-training team has launched a new suite of courses specifically for legal-support professionals.

This innovative new training series will run from March to June 2026 and is designed to equip legal-support professionals with practical skills and insights to excel in today’s legal environment.

This webinar series marks the first time that such a large suite of training has been made available to legal-support professionals.

The courses are suitable for legal executives, paralegals, legal secretaries, office managers, bookkeepers, and other legal-support professionals.

Live webinars

A series of live webinars will focus on key topics for practice:

  • AI literacy,
  • Onboarding clients/AML,
  • Data protection,
  • Managing clients/conflict,
  • Cybersecurity.

In addition to this, Law Society Skillnet is also offering AI practical workshops for legal-support professionals in Cork and Dublin and a micro-credential for legal bookkeepers.

This new suite of courses joins the already successful programmes offered by the Diploma Centre:

  • Certificate in Legal Skills for Legal Secretaries,
  • Diploma in Legal Skills for Legal Executives,
  • Diploma in Property Law and Conveyancing for Legal Executives.

Places are limited so attendees are encouraged to register early.
