International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has announced the appointment of Kate Field as a partner in its Dublin-based disputes and employment practice.
The promotion is one of 17 announced by the firm across its global network of offices.
Addleshaw Goddard says that the Dublin appointment builds on its “strong momentum” in Ireland after a period of sustained growth throughout 2025 and beyond.
The promotion comes just over a year after the firm relocated to its new office at Fitzwilliam No. 28, Dublin, which gave it a 42% increase in space and provided a platform for continued expansion.
Over the past three years, Addleshaw Goddard has increased staff numbers in Ireland by more than 20% to 156 people – including 91 lawyers and 32 partners.
Field, previously an employment legal director with Addleshaw Goddard (Ireland) LLP, has extensive experience advising clients on complex, contentious, and non-contentious matters.
Her practice includes a particular focus on commercial litigation, and she has worked closely with clients across a range of sectors, notably retail and hospitality.
Mark Walsh (head of Ireland) described the appointment as “a fantastic milestone” for Field and the employment and disputes group in Ireland.
“Her depth of experience and outstanding client focus strengthen our ability to support clients with increasingly complex workplace and commercial challenges,” he added.
