Second series of Irish Courts Podcast

The Courts Service has launched a second series of the Irish Courts Podcast, with the first episode dropping today (10 October).

This new series explores key themes in Irish law and justice, ranging from the role of juries and the right to liberty, to how courts interact with the media and emerging technologies like AI.

Each episode features a mix of judicial voices, legal scholars, and experienced commentators, offering fresh perspectives on how the courts shape, and are shaped by society.

The first episode is a deep dive into the jury system, featuring contributions from Ms Justice Caroline Biggs, Dr Niamh Howlin of UCD, and Patrick Gageby SC.

Episodes will be released fortnightly through October and November.

The first series is also still available to listen to.
