Justice seeks public views on new strategy

The Department of Justice has opened a public consultation as it works on developing a new statement of strategy.

The strategy document will set out the department’s objectives for the three years from 2025 to 2028.

The department says that it will be influenced by the Programme for Government, key Government priorities, policy frameworks, and “other significant issues”.

The consultation is taking place through an anonymous survey and is open to anyone living in Ireland.

The deadline for submissions is 21 May.
