Clare Cashin joins ALG’s construction team

A&L Goodbody LLP (ALG) has appointed Clare Cashin as a partner in its construction and engineering practice.

Cashin has more than 20 years’ experience advising on construction law, specialising in dispute resolution on construction and infrastructure projects in the private and public sectors.

She has particular expertise in alternative dispute resolution such as mediation, conciliation, adjudication, and arbitration.

Practice ‘very active’

ALG says that Cashin will join the firm’s practice later in the summer.

David Widger (ALG managing partner) that construction projects were attracting “much-needed” investment, and large-scale infrastructure projects and housing were high on the Government’s agenda.

“For that reason, our construction and engineering practice is very active, and we see that continuing,” he added, describing Cashin’s appointment as “a welcome addition” to the team.
