Arthur Cox has appointed partner Ailish Finnerty as the firm’s next chair, succeeding Orla O’Connor.
She will take up the position on 31 March, when O’Connor completes her six-year term.
Finnerty is a partner in our Arthur Cox’s tax group and is a member of the firm’s policy committee.
She specialises in corporate tax, with a focus on tax planning for international clients. She trained with the firm, before becoming a partner in 2008.
O’Connor described her successor as “an exceptional leader, with a deep understanding of our clients’ needs and the evolving legal landscape”.
Finnerty praised Orla O’Connor for her leadership and “outstanding contribution” to the firm.
