Line-up for 2025 Hardiman Lecture Series

The Hardiman Lecture Series, named in honour of the late Mr Justice Adrian Hardiman of the Supreme Court, returns this year with a schedule of four lectures. 

Each lecture will take place in the Supreme Court, with all lectures starting at 4.20pm. 

The lectures are open to the public and free to attend, with no registration required. 

The schedule is: 

  • Thursday 19 June: Mr Justice Peter Charleton – ‘The Cuban Missile Crisis: the apology and the ignored letter that stopped nuclear war’,
  • Thursday 26 June: Mr Justice Gerard Hogan – ‘The remarkable influence of the Irish Constitution on the Indian Constitution’,
  • Thursday 3 July: Mr Justice Anthony Collins – ‘The role of Advocate General to the CJEU’, and
  • Thursday 10 July: Ms Justice Siobhán Phelan: – ‘Recent developments in immigration law’.
