The Law Society library’s latest subject guide on Enviornmental, Social and Governance (ESG) is now available.
Recognising that ESG is a growing and quickly evolving area of interest for the profession, this subject guide brings together resources that will facilitate in developing an understanding of the basics.
The subject guide is also a useful resource for those partaking in the Diploma Centre’s MOOC on ESG, which will take place on 11 June.
The subject guide highlights library resources available to support solicitors in practice and brings together other Law Society guidance on ESG as well as external resources including EU legislation and government guidance.
Solicitors and trainees can use the guide as a starting point for researching legislation, in particular EU legislation on areas such as corporate sustainability reporting and sustainable finance disclosures.
The library also has an extensive range of journal articles on this growing area and have expanded its collection of books and eBooks on ESG and the related areas of corporate social responsibility and sustainable investing.
