Applications open for High Court bench vacancies
The Judicial Appointments Advisory Board (JAAB) has opened applications from practising solicitors and barristers for appointment as an ordinary judge of the High Court.
Eligible candidates who wish to be considered can apply in writing to the secretary, Judicial Appointments Advisory Board, Phoenix House, 15/24 Phoenix Street North, Smithfield, Dublin 7, or email judicial.appts@courts.ie for the application form.
Applications will be considered for vacancies that arise in the High Court during 2024.
Tax clearance certificate
These applications will only remain valid pending establishment of the Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC). Applicants must have a relevant tax-clearance certificate.
Applications close at 4pm on Thursday 1 August.
