High-impact event focuses on women leaders

Law Society Psychological Services, in partnership with Law Society Professional Training, is hosting the latest in its series of events on high-impact leaders in law.

An online panel discussion on Thursday 18 April (12.30pm-1.30pm) will focus on leading female leaders in public law.

The Zoom webinar, which includes a live question-and-answer session, will explore:

  • Effective leadership strategies for driving meaningful change in the service of the State and in the public’s interest,
  • The importance of representation and equal opportunities in legal leadership roles, and
  • Strategies, support networks, and self-care practices for sustaining leadership excellence.

Speakers

The Law Society’s Director General Mark Garrett will chair the discussion. The speakers are:

  • Maria Browne (Chief State Solicitor),
  • June Reardon (Chief Parliamentary Counsel, Office of the Attorney General), and
  • Faye Breen (Deputy Director General, Office of the Attorney General).

The event is worth one CPD hour (professional development and solicitor wellbeing).
