Arthur Cox takes IFLR award for Ireland
Irish firms and lawyers have been honoured at the IFLR Europe Awards 2024, which were announced on Wednesday night (24 April).
The awards celebrate legal innovation in cross-border deals, including merger-and-acquisition activity.
Arthur Cox took the national award for Ireland, while the firm also won a specialist award in the ‘Financial Services Regulatory – Regional' category.
Catherine Deane, former chair of McCann FitzGerald, also received an individual award, joining the ‘hall of fame’ for women deal-makers.
‘Magic circle’ firms were the big winners at this year’s awards, with Clifford Chance scooping up 12 prizes and Allen & Overy taking home six.
