Pinsent Masons hires Conor Durkin as partner

Pinsent Masons has hired funds partner Conor Durkin to lead its funds team in Dublin as it expands its pan-European funds capabilities.

Durkin specialises in investment funds and asset management, and advises on the establishment, structuring and operation of funds covering a range of asset classes.

Joining from Mason Hayes & Curran, where he has been a partner for eight years, the move follows the recruitment of funds partners Dr Jan Saalfrank and Benoît Rose in Luxembourg earlier this year.

Head of Pinsent Masons’ Dublin office Ann Lalor said: “Ireland continues to be an important jurisdiction for investment funds and, increasingly, for funds and managers targeting private-market investments.

“The addition of Conor to the funds team will enable us to further support our multi-national client base as part of our growing international funds and asset-management practice.”

This is the firm’s eighth financial-services partner hire in 2023.
