Launch event for K&L Gates’s Dublin opening

An event to celebrate the Dublin opening of global law firm K&L Gates LLP took place at the Royal College of Physicians (10 May).

Jennifer Carroll MacNeill (Minister of State with responsibility for Financial Services, Credit Unions and Insurance) said: “We have built a very successful international financial-services sector in Ireland, and I am delighted to welcome K&L Gates to our shores.

“They join an ever-growing talented pool of companies and professionals who are making Ireland their home to serve their international financial-services partners," she said.

Managing partner Gayle Bowen stated: “Ireland is a globally significant market for the asset-management, investment-funds and broader financial-services industries. K&L Gates's presence here will help meet the needs of global clients as they increasingly look to Ireland as a place to do business.”

Bowen added that she was delighted to lead the Dublin office at the start of its journey.
