Law Society sets up environmental-and-planning group

The Law Society is to launch its newly established Environmental and Planning Law Committee at an event on Wednesday 29 March (6pm).

The guest speaker is Ms Justice Nuala Butler, who will speak about her experience as a practitioner, and recent developments in environmental and planning law.

The President of the Law Society, Maura Derivan, will also be in attendance.

Members

The committee is chaired by Rachel Minch SC (small picture), and comprises solicitors experienced in environmental and planning law.

The vice-chair is Conor Linehan SC, and the members are:

  • Andrew Jackson,
  • Brendan Curran,
  • Danielle Conaghan,
  • Eoin Brady,
  • Fergal Ruane,
  • Nap Keeling,
  • Nicole Ridge, and
  • Zoe Richardson

The group will monitor developments in relation to law reform, or legislative proposals in the area.

The event is free of charge and is open to all Law Society members, staff and trainees.

For those unable to come to Blackhall Place, the launch will also be available to attend live on Zoom. Registration is required.
