Since 2011, he has been an elected member of the executive board of the Athens Bar.
He was chair of the CCBE Access to Justice Committee since February 2015, head of the Greek delegation in 2019, before joining the CCBE Presidency in 2020.
Panagiotis Perakis started his career as a lawyer, providing legal services in both advisory and judicial proceedings after his studies in Greece and France.
His presidency will be supported by Pierre-Dominique Schupp (Switzerland) as first vice-president, Thierry Wickers (France) as second vice-president, and Roman Završek (Slovenia) as third vice-president.
