Ciaran Flynn joins Arthur Cox’s consulting arm

Arthur Cox LLP has appointed Ciaran Flynn as head of governance, risk and compliance consulting.

He joins the firm’s Company Compliance and Governance Group, a team that specialises in corporate governance, company law, company-secretarial services, and legal and compliance risk management.

Flynn, a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst by training, brings more than 20 years’ experience in professional and consulting services to the role.

He joins Arthur Cox from KPMG, where he served as a director in its risk and regulatory consulting team.

Further hires

Geoff Moore (Arthur Cox’s managing partner) said: “At our core we are and will remain a legal-services firm, but we believe that adding additional consulting services will significantly increase the value that we can bring to our clients.

“We expect to see further specialist professional hires as we continue to extend and grow our range of services to clients centred around our core legal offering.”

Dr Thomas B Courtney (partner and Head of the Company Compliance and Governance Group) said that Flynn brought “a unique blend of skills and experience” to the role.
