Irish winners at Global IP Awards named

Law firms William Fry, Mason Hayes & Curran (MHC), and FRKelly have picked up the Irish prizes at this year’s Global IP Awards.

Launched in 2019, the awards recognise law-firm excellence in litigation, trademark, and patent work during the past year.

William Fry took the ‘Patent Litigation Firm of the Year’ award for Ireland.

Trademark award for MHC

MHC was the Irish winner of the ‘Trademark Firm of the Year’ prize, while specialist IP firm FRKelly was ‘Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year’.

Laura Scott (partner at William Fry) said that the award rewarded “the outstanding contribution” that the team had made to the firm and its clients over the last 12 months.

MHC’s head of IP Gerard Kelly said that the underscored the firm’s ability to provide “exemplary service” on work related to trademarks.
