Solicitor Susan Martin has been elected as President of the Dublin Solicitors’ Bar Association.
Commenting on her election at the association’s AGM, the Clarehall, Dublin 5-based sole practitioner said that she was delighted and privileged to serve as President of the DSBA.
She praised the DSBA for “its engagement of solicitors in providing voluntary practical timely assistance, guidance and education to practitioners in a spirit of collegiality, supporting and uplifting the profession, making a legal community”.
Paying tribute to her predecessor Diego Gallagher, Susan Martin congratulated him on a very successful year as president, and acknowledged the critical work he undertook in respect of the Dignity Matters campaign for dignity in the workplace across the legal community.
Susan Martin is a highly respected solicitor, who has been practising for over 20 years. She is principal of Martin Solicitors.
She is a member of the Law Society’s Council, and is also a serving officer in the Army Reserve.
