ALG names new partner in technology group
A&L Goodbody LLP (ALG) has appointed Mark Ellis (pictured) as a partner in its commercial-and-technology group.
Ellis advises domestic and international clients on all aspects of technology, intellectual property, privacy, and data-protection law.
ALG says that his practice at the firm has a particular focus on leading technology companies, as well as financial institutions and life-sciences companies.
Key growth area
David Widger (ALG's managing partner) said that the area of technology and data privacy was important in Ireland's economic and regulatory landscape.
"With some of the world's largest tech companies headquartered here, our commercial-and-technology practice is a key area of growth for us," he added.
