The Taoiseach has appointed solicitor Susan Gilvarry as the new sole member of the NAMA Commission of Investigation.
She has been the commission’s solicitor since its establishment in 2017.
Gilvarry succeeds the previous sole member, the late Mr Justice John D Cooke, who died in April.
The body is investigating the National Asset Management Agency’s sale of its portfolio of loans in Northern Ireland.
The commission was recently granted a three-month extension until the end of June to complete its report.
