Aileen McGing to merge with P O’Connor

Mayo practice P O’Connor Solicitors and the Charlestown practice of Aileen McGing have merged, with effect from 11 July.

McGing now practises from the Swinford office of P O’Connor.

Principal Pat O’Connor said that he was pleased and proud to announce the merger.

"Aileen is a great addition to the firm through the spheres of work she is concentrating on. It’s good to have somebody with her vast experience and talent to supplement the skillsets we already have. It’s a timely move for her and us.”

Measured expansion

“Thankfully, the work is there for us, and we are expanding in a measured and considered way," he said.

Aileen McGing, who specialises in property law and probate, has moved all of her work into the firm’s head office at Market Street, Swinford, and her clients have been notified of the new arrangement.

P O’Connor & Son, founded in 1900, prides itself on its friendly and professional approach and has achieved ISO accreditation.

In 2021, the firm was named ‘Probate Law Firm of the Year’ at the Irish Law Awards, and was also shortlisted in five other categories.
