Chair of Financial Services Bar Association elected
John Breslin SC has been elected as chair of the newly launched Financial Services Bar Association (FSBA).
High Court President Mr Justice David Barniville addressed the launch of the specialist bar association in the Distillery Building (15 July).
The FSBA aims to promote members’ expertise in all areas of financial-services law, as well as encouraging colleagues who want to grow their practice in the area.
The FSBA’s first annual conference, taking place in November, will focus on the senior executive accountability regime (SEAR), which makes executives personally liable for regulatory breaches.
